ComputerBasic Computers – QQI Level 2 Essential I.T.  Come to grips with your computer – learn how to use the keyboard, surf the internet and to produce a short document.  Small group and lots of individual attention.  The course will commence on Tuesday 23rd February from 10 am to 12 noon and will run for 10 weeks.  The cost is €50.  Places are limited so please call the centre to reserve your place.

Driving ThoeryDriver Theory Course – Do you need a helping hand with the Driver Theory test? A 5 week course that explores driver theory from how to apply for it and what you are entitled to as help, to the rules of the road on the driver theory CD.  Commencing on Wednesday 2nd March from 7pm to 9:30pm in the Resource Centre.  Cost is €25, payable in advance.  Places are limited.  Call the centre to reserve your place.

Mevagh Women Together – will hold their A.G.M. on Monday, 15th February at 8pm in the Resource Centre.  Rev. Janice Browne will be in attendance.

mens group2Mevagh Men’s Group – will meet on Tuesday evening, 16th February at 8pm in the Resource Centre.  Fr. Joe Chambers will facilitate the meeting.

crafts 7Mevagh Craft Group meet weekly and share skills such as knitting, crochet, cross stitch, sewing and quilting.  Members freely share ideas, swap patterns and help one another along.  Group meet every Thursday morning from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm.  New members are always welcome.

Breastfeeding support 1Breastfeeding Support Group – continue to meet on Thursday mornings from 11:00am to 12:30pm in the Mevagh Family Resource Centre.  This is a drop-in support group and is open to pregnant and breastfeeding mums and is Public Health Nurse led.  Feel free to pop in to meet other mums and enjoy a cuppa.  For further details, please contact the centre on 91 55055 or your local healthcare professional.

bEES 2Busy Bees, Parent, Baby and Toddler Group for babies to 5 year olds – meet every Friday morning from 10.00am to 12.00 noon, so why not bring your little tots along for a morning of fun.  Cost €3 per family.

Open Day: Beidh lá oscailte do thuismitheoirí agus a gcuid páistí in Scoil Cholmcille Duibhlinn Riabhach ar an 25ú (Déardaoin) Feabhra ag 12.30pm.  Beidh deis ag na tuismitheoirí agus na páistí cuairt a thabhairt ar timpeallacht na scoile. Beidh cúpa tae /caife ar fáil do gach duine in seomra na dtuismitheoirí.  Beidh an Príomhoide ar fáil chun ceisteanna ar bith atá ag tuismitheoirí a fhreagairt.

There will be an Open Day for parents and children in Scoil Cholmcille, Devlinreagh on Thursday, 25th February at 12.30pm. There will be a cup of tea/coffee for all in the parent’s room. There will be an opportunity for parents and children to visit the school environment.  The Principal will be available to answer any questions that parents may have.  All are welcome.
