Mevagh Craft Group – continue to meet weekly every Thursday morning from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Mevagh Family Resource Centre. New members are always welcome.
BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT GROUP – will continue to meet on Thursday mornings from 11:00am to 12:30pm. This group is led by the Public Health Nurse and is open to all mums-to-be and new mums who are interested in breastfeeding.
BUSY BEES PARENT & TODDLER GROUP is an informal group which provides an opportunity for young children and their parents/carers to meet from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Resource Centre. Cost is €3 per family.
Downings GAA underage presentation night for all boys & girls will take place in the Downings Bay Hotel on Saturday 17th December at 7.30pm. Special guest in attendance.
The Annual General Meeting of Meitheal Mhíobhaigh CTR will be held on Monday 27th February 2017 at 7pm in the Mevagh Family Resource Centre, Downings. All members of the community are eligible for election to the board of Meitheal Mhíobhaigh CTR. Nomination papers are available from the centre. Individuals must agree to be nominated and will also have to be proposed by an existing Director. Elections will take place on the night. All nominations must be returned to the company secretary, Eve Byrne by Friday, 10 February 2017.
